Wire Wrapping Journey 4

Hey Everyone!  Have you been wondering what I’ve been up to lately?  Well, I’ve been busy creating and I seem to have found my wire-wrapping forte. 

As some of you know (from reading my previous entries about my journey) I have dabbled with earrings, link bracelets, rose bud rings, wrapping a cabochon (notice the use of a cabochon… lol), and a piece of man-made sea glass. 

However, I am hooked (and not crochethooked) on the link bracelets, which I have made quite a few over the past several months.  Although, creating jewelry using sea glass was one reason I started learning this diverse technique, but knowing myself (as I do so well…lol) sea glass is in my future! I certainly can’t stop creating these awesome bracelets now… can I?

Wire Wrapped Lavender Bracelet and Ring

Hi Friends, This terrific link bracelet and wire wrapped ring was made with Provence Lavender Swarovski crystals and non-tarnishing silver wire. The crystals are individually wire wrapped and linked together, creating a rosary style bracelet.

That has been my focus over the past few weeks; fine tuning my (limited, but growing day by day) wire wrapping skills by making crystal link bracelets and a matching ring. And may I tell you it has been nothing but FUN!  

My mother and aunt both love the link bracelets because they are lightweight, they sparkle, and they are easy to put on and take off. Why? The clasp… it’s magnetic….

Jeweled Wire Crochet Swarovski Bracelet made with Topaz, Lt Siam crystals and almond colored pearls… all made by Swarovski.  The artistic wire matches the beads which enhances color of the Braidlet.
