Gypsy Braidlet Inspired by BrandiGirlBlog

Good afternoon everyone!  My good friend Brandi from BrandiGirlBlog has done it once again, inspired me with her amazing color combinations to create a Braidlet called Gypsy. This picture was created by Brandi introducing her Spring Color Trios for 2014 and I couldn’t stop thinking about designing a Braidlet from one of these trios. 

Which one did I choose?

Classic Bracelet Earrings Set

White pearls made by Swarovski were used to design this elegant handmade bracelet and matching earrings set.

The bracelet was made by crocheting the pearls to wire creating three separate strands, which are braided. This technique allows the bracelet to adjust in size by pushing the pearls apart or pushing the pearls together.

The earrings are made with sterling silver ear wire and there are five Swarovski pearls on each earring.

Size:

Bracelet: 6 ¾ - 3/8” wide

Earrings: 1 ½ dangles

Wire: Non-tarnishing Silver

Braidlets Color Combinations

Over the past few years, I’ve made over 100 different Braidlets in various color combinations. Some have been created by clients, and some I found inspiration from my friend Brandi from BrandiGirlBlog. I also used the Swarovski Color Carousel, which you can use to create your unique color combinations.

Olivine Swarovski Crystal & Pearl Bracelet

Multi strand bracelet is made with one strand of light green Swarovski crystal pearls and two strands of olivine colored Swarovski crystals. 

Each crystal is individually crocheted to matching colored artistic wire forming three separate strands that are braided together, creating this wonderful lightweight bracelet.

I attached a different clasp to this bracelet which is a lobster-claw (silver filled) along with silver filled findings.
