Now that you are a member, I will briefly talk about three ways IBH can… help you and your handmade business.
  1. Product Submission
  2. Featured Artist
  3. Contribute an Article

Product Submission on IBH
Product Submission: Do you have a new product in your shop? Do you want to tell the public about your HAFshop, Artfire or Etsy shop?  Do you need more back links to your website? Great! All you have to do is fill out a short form listing all your business information, tags, and contact info… and upon approval; you will see your product on the Front Page.  Best of all… it’s FREE for members only!  Click > Product Submission
Featured Artist on IBH
Featured Artist: This is your chance to toot your own horn. Tell people about yourself, how you got started creating, why you make what you make.  Tell everyone about your expertise in your field because you have a degree or you have been creating for 30 years. Show the public you are real and you stand behind what you make, because it’s handmade. Ready to talk about yourself…
Here is the link > Featured Artist Questionnaire

Contribute an Article on IBH
Contribute an Article: This one is easy and if you have a blog, you have already done the work and all you need to do is submit your article to IBH for publication.  Maybe a tutorial of your product, an article about the color wheel, a top ten list of reasons to blog, or an article on handmade.  Whatever you write about, it becomes an original article and you can submit it to IBH.

There you go! A few ways to increase traffic to your site, spread the word you are here and here to stay, create useful back links, and generate important content for search engines. Best part is all the above is FREE for IBH members. Take a look… you have nothing to lose, but so much to gain! Cari

A little bit about the owner of It’s Better Handmade!
Kimberly is the driving force behind this helpful website. She is also a co-owner of Handmade Artists Shop. Trust me when I say she (and her husband Andrew) live, breath, (probably have vacationed with), eat, and dream about handmade. You can read all about Kimberly and her passion for handmade… Click Here > IBH About Me
